General Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Scope of Application

These general terms and conditions apply to all services provided by the practice, including psychological and sexological therapy, both in-person and online.

Article 2: Appointment Scheduling

Appointments can be scheduled through the online booking system, by telephone, or by email. An appointment is definitive once confirmed by the therapist.

Article 3: Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation rules apply:

  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment.
  • For cancellations within 24 hours, the full session fee will be charged.
  • In case of a no-show without notification, the full session fee will be charged.

In case of illness, please notify the practice as soon as possible and provide medical documentation on the same day. Failure to do so will result in a no-show charge covering the full session cost.

Article 4: Fees and Payment

Current fees can be found on our fees page. Payment is due after each session, unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods: cash, Bancontact, and instant bank transfer.

Article 5: Reimbursement

After each session, you will receive a certificate that you can submit to your health insurance fund (mutualiteit) for partial reimbursement.

Article 6: Professional Confidentiality

As a recognized clinical psychologist and sexologist, the therapist is bound by professional confidentiality. Exceptions apply only in cases of acute danger, legal reporting obligations, or explicit written consent from the client.

Article 7: Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

  • Attending appointments on time.
  • Providing accurate and complete information.
  • Reporting relevant changes in your situation.
  • Paying the agreed fees.
  • Respecting therapeutic boundaries.

Article 8: Termination of Therapy

Both parties may terminate the therapy at any time. Scheduled appointments follow the cancellation policy upon termination. A closing conversation is recommended.

Article 9: Complaints Procedure

If you are dissatisfied, please discuss your concerns directly with the therapist. Together we will look for an appropriate solution.

Article 10: Liability

The practice provides therapy in accordance with professional standards and guidelines. Liability is limited to the amounts covered by professional liability insurance.

Article 11: Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these general terms and conditions. Changes will be communicated in a timely manner and published on this website.

Article 12: Applicable Law

Belgian law applies to these terms. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts.
